Let Her Be Free: Icy and Sot: Stencil Artists from Iran

LET HER BE FREE is the first collection of their art and covers nearly a decade of their career with more than 200 full colour pictures. Starting in 2006 the book offers a retrospective of their art in their early Iranian years and follows the brothers to New York City and depicts their work all over the world. With a special introduction by Jess X Chen and an afterword by Jaime Rojo and Steven P. Harrington, founders of Brooklyn Street Art.

"In the footsteps of Banksy, Icy and Sot have quickly earned their street credits. The brothers, have developed an international visual language to complete their path toward freedom in their own distinct way." -- HUGO KAAGMAN, Dutch Street Art Pioneer

"It is great that the medium of stencil art has grown to be adopted by so many artists around the world. These guys have a great eye for placement in the streets and always have something important to say with their work." -- Adam Neate, UK-based Street Artist

"These wise brothers call attention to a gaping gash in the side of humanity. Slowly stitching together torn fragments of human stories, Icy and Sot gives awareness to the flaws of our political systems and the way that impacts individual lives." -- Faith47, South African Street Artist.
